Amelia Plant ('10) is Co-Secretary-General for BUSUN '08. She was Director-General in 2007 and Director of the African Union for BUSUN '06. She is a native Rhode Islander concentrating in International Relations. Amelia is also involved in a sorority and some of the women's rights groups on campus. She is still trying to figure out if she wants to go to law school after Brown, so she is spending her summer in the South Bronx of New York City working for the Bronx Defender's Family Defense Project. Amelia cannot wait for BUSUN 2008! |

Alma Guerrero (’09) is Co-Secretary-General for BUSUN ‘08. She was co-Director of Operations in ’06 and worked in Operations in ’05. She is a student of the Program in Liberal Medical Education and is a concentrator of Archaeology and the Ancient World. Alma was born in Reynosa, Mexico and lives in Pharr, Texas where she attended high school and co-founded a non-profit organization serving the youth of the Rio Grande Valley. While at Brown, Alma has been involved in Shakespeare on the Green, Production Workshop, the PLME senate, and is a Meiklejohn Peer Adviser. She studied abroad Fall Semester of 2007 in Bologna, Italy and Spring Semester of 2008 in Athens, Greece. She also worked on the archaeological excavation of Tongobriga in Portugal during the summer of 2007. Alma is very excited for BUSUN ‘08 and cannot wait to meet the delegates! |

Cate Berger ('11) is Under-Secratary General for BUSUN 2008. She was Director for the Chinese Politburo at BUSUN 2007, and has chaired the British Cabinet and U.S. Security Council at conferences held at her high school, St. Ignatius College Prep in Chicago, IL. She was on Model UN for four years there and on the executive board for her final two years at St. Ignatius. She participated in over ten conferences while in high school, and was extremely excited when she found out she could continue her Model UN career at Brown. Besides participitating in Brown Model UN, she is also on the varsity equestrian team, sings for With One Voice (an a cappella group on campus), baby-sits in the area, and is a Safewalker. Cate has been gearing up for BUSUN 2008 since December 2007, and she doing all she can to make BUSUN 2008 the most fantastic BUSUN to date! |

Leah Fraimow-Wong ('11) is Director General for BUSUN 2008. In the '07 conference, she was the director of the United Nations Development Programme. Originally from Berkeley, California, she founded a model UN club at her high school and led it for 2 years before leaving to attend an international school in Italy for junior and senior year. Here at Brown, she plans to double concentrate in economics and either international relations or political science. She is extremely excited for BUSUN '08 and is looking forward to meeting this year's delegates. |

Harris Li ('11) is the Director of External Affairs for BUSUN 2008. In 2007, he served as the Director of the Soviet Cabinet for the Cuban Missile Crisis. In high school, Harris formed a Model United Nations club to discuss different issues impacting the international community at the time. Aside from Model UN, Harris is also a class representative to the Undergraduate Council of Students and the Brown Head Delegate to Ivy Council. Harris is eager to respond to any and all questions in a prompt yet informative manner. He looks forward to working closely with all the students and faculty advisers in preparation for a brilliant BUSUN 2008. |

Michael Ewart ('11) is working towards a concentration in International Relations, focusing on Global Security, and is also studying Arabic and literary arts. He was a committee director for the joint-crisis at BUSUN 2007, and this year will be the Director of Crisis. In addition to Model UN, he volunteers with the Rhode Island Urban Debate League and is a Section Editor for the Brown Journal of World Affairs. Michael was born and raised in Canada, but has studied and lived in Europe and Asia, and is happy to now call Providence 'home'. He is looking forward to an exciting and engaging joint-crisis simulation for BUSUN 2008! |

Lilia Royanova ('11) is Director of Publications for BUSUN 2008. She was Director of Press at the 2007 conference. Lilia has been involved in Model United Nations since her senior year of high school and participated in the UNAUSAMUN conference in New York City. She has been actively involved in Brown's Model UN and is really excited for BUSUN 2008. Lilia is planning to concentrate in International Relations and Economics; she is also interested in Visual Arts and Art History. In her free time she likes to listen to house music, drink coffee, and read historic novels. Lilia is looking forward to a fantastic conference! |

Robert Landau Ames ('09) is concentrating in American history. Rob got his start with BUSUN at BUSUN 2005, when directed on the
interconnected crisis's UN Security Council. In the 2006 conference,
he was the General Assembly-Plenary's chair. He was studying abroad
in India while BUSUN 2007 was going on, but Rob is definitely looking forward to returning to working for BUSUN in 2008. BUSUN 2008 will be his last BUSUN. |

Neal Cohen ('10) is Director of Operations for BUSUN 2008. Last year at BUSUN he was Co-Director of Operations. Neal attended Fayetteville-Manlius High School, where he had the chance to go to many Model UN conferences, and chaired the Disarmament and EcoFin committees at CNYMUN. Aside from Model UN, he is involved in a group called Democracy Matters, which promotes a bill for public financing of elections, and Community Health Advocacy Program, teaching teens in a group home about health. Neal is a community health concentrator. |
