Directions to Campus
Registration will be held in Partridge Hall on
the corner of Brown and Waterman Streets
(visitor's map).
If your are using a GPS, use 68 Brown Street, Providence, RI 02906 as the destination address.
By Car
From I-95
North and South: Follow I-95 to Exit 22A ("Downtown / Memorial
Boulevard"). At the end of the exit ramp proceed straight onto Memorial
Boulevard, and continue on Memorial Boulevard until you reach the intersection
with Washington Street. Make a left on Washington Street. Washington
Street will turn on Waterman Street, and will take you up College Hill and
onto Brown's campus. Partridge Hall will be on your left on the corner
of Brown and Waterman Streets.
From I-195 West: Follow I-195 West to Exit 3 ("Gano
Street / India Point"). At the traffic light at the end of the exit ramp,
make a right onto Gano Street. Continue on Gano street until you reach
the intersection with Angell Street. Make a left onto Angell Street, and continue
until you reach the intersection with Brown Street. Make a left onto
Brown Street. Partridge Hall will be on your right at the end of the block
.
From US-6 East: Follow US-6 East. US-6 will take you into
the city of Providence, where it will merge with RI-10. About 1.5 miles
following this merge, take the exit for "Providence Downtown." At
the end of the exit ramp proceed straight onto Memorial Boulevard, and
continue on Memorial Boulevard until you reach the intersection with Washington
Street. Make a left on Washington Street. Washington Street will turn on
Waterman Street, and will take you up College Hill and onto Brown's
campus. Partridge Hall will be on your left on the corner of Brown and Waterman
Streets.
By Train
Providence Station is served by Amtrak (North
east Regional and Acela Express) and the MBTA
(Providence/Stoughton Communter Rail Line). The station is a short cab ride
from the University.
By Bus
Providence
is served by Greyhound and
Peter Pan bus lines. Their Providence
terminals are a short cab ride from the University.
By Air
Named for
Senator Theodore Francis Green, class of 1887, T.F. Green International Airport (PVD) is served by many local and national airlines. The airport, which is located in the city of Warwick, is approximately 10 miles from the University. A variety of ground transportation options are available from the terminal to campus.
